This research informs sales and activation efforts for some of the biggest brand and partnership deals in live events. In this internship, you will analyze data, prepare reporting, and communicate insights that will help our teams attract and retain brand partnerships.  Responsibilities:  Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data and market trends  Prepare clear and concise reporting on findings  Assist in the identification and development of new research techniques  Collaborate with internal teams on translating insights to strategy  Assist in the design and implementation of research projects  Provide support to the broader Global Partnerships Sales and Activation teams  When necessary, assist with planning and execution of event day operations  Create presentations, slide decks, and other data visualizations  Requirements:  Pursuing a relevant degree  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities  Preferred experience with Excel, SAS, SPSS, R, Python  Database knowledge (AWS, Azure)  Familiar with SQL and data warehousing  Preferred familiarity with research methods (surveys, experiments, observation)  Can work in a fast-paced team  Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel preferred  Interest in sports and entertainment industry  The internship requires a minimum of 18 hours per week during the fall.  Benefits:  Access to real-world data about what drives live events and entertainment  Gain hands-on experience in the data business that lives within live events (you will also learn event planning, marketing initiatives, and business administration)  Network with professionals at a global leader in live events.  Gain knowledge of a wildly popular and compelling industry, firsthand.  Build a platform for future career growth – inside the company or beyond.  Gain some tangible skills on how to work with data and apply to live event strategy.  Pay Scale: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Location: Los Angeles (On-Site)  Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.  Benefits: Part-time: This position is not eligible for benefits.  AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description, whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
