Description
You'll convert inbound interest into revenue on Luma's early go-to-market team, owning smaller deals at high velocity and helping put frontier creative AI into more hands.
This is a high-velocity closing role on smaller deals, where you'll also help refine the foundational sales process by flagging where it bottlenecks. It fits a high-energy closer with strong ownership who thrives in ambiguity. If you want large, slow enterprise cycles or a fully built process, this isn't the fit.
What You'll Own
- Convert inbound demand into closed revenue, focused on smaller deals with high velocity.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial interest to closed-won.
- Help refine foundational sales processes and playbooks by flagging bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with marketing and product to optimize lead generation and messaging.
- Drive results in a fast-paced, resource-light environment with strong ownership over outcomes.
First 90 Days
One way the first 90 could unfold.
- Days 1–30 — Immerse & Diagnose: Learn the product and the inbound flow, and start closing.
- Days 30–60 — Ship & Validate: Hit consistent velocity converting inbound to closed-won.
- Days 60–90 — Scale & Systemize: Help tighten the repeatable inbound sales process.
What You Bring
- 1–3+ years of full-cycle closing in a high-velocity sales environment, with a track record of exceeding quota.
- A closer's mentality with strong ownership and high agency in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
- High energy and a track record of tangible results.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
- Experience in the tech industry.
Nice to Have
- Experience at high-growth, sales-led-growth startups.
- Background in early-stage AI or creative technology.
- Prior "first sales hire" or early AE experience at a Seed/Series A startup.
- Familiarity with remote closing techniques and tools.
Note: compensation is OTE on a 50/50 base/variable split, plus equity and benefits.
